“ Really enjoyed my poke bowl here! The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. I came during a quiet time for a late lunch. The place was a bit dim for daytime, and the menu and floor could’ve used a quick clean, but nothing major. Overall, a good spot I’d visit again. ”
“ We came into simply social for brunch just after a morning rain shower so the place was pretty empty when we arrived but was definately picking up by the time the lunch crowd was coming around after the rain. I ordered the pancakes which well amazing but no lie they were so big and fluffy like cake almost like I was eating dessert for breakfast ;-) ”
“ A place I keep coming back to. From the very first visit, this place was something special. The food absolutely delicious! the kind that makes you lick your fingers after every bite. Every dish felt made with love, and the beverages were just as impressive,, refreshing, well-crafted, and thoughtfully presented. The space itself is beautiful and inviting, with that warm Ubud charm that instantly makes you feel at ease. But what truly touched me was the kindness of the staff always smiling, always attentive, and checking in just at the right moments. It felt like being looked after by old friends. I found myself returning every single day and honestly, I wish every restaurant could offer the kind of genuine care and service that Simply Social does so naturally. Thank you for making my time in Ubud even more memorable. ”
“ I can’t recommend Simply Social café/restaurant enough! The staff are incredibly welcoming, always greeting you with the biggest smiles. We loved it so much that we came back seven times during our stay in Ubud. The food is absolutely sensational, the atmosphere is vibrant, and it’s also a great spot for people-watching. If you go, don’t miss the Honey Grilled Chicken, it’s a must-try! A special shout-out to Happy, Sasa, and Juli for their outstanding hospitality. We’ll definitely be back! ”
“ Tucked just off Ubud’s busy main drag, Simply Social makes a nice little refuge with a front-row seat for people and traffic watching. We grabbed rocking chairs at the bar and watched the world go by while we ate. The food was fresh and well presented. I had sushi, which was lovely, and some dumplings that looked as good as they tasted. Stacey had a vegetable stir-fry bowl and enjoyed it too. There are plenty of Western-style options on the menu, which isn’t usually our thing, but for a light, fresh lunch in a lively spot it hit the mark. Simply Social is a bit busy and hectic but that’s part of the appeal if you’re in the mood to relax and take in the street scene. It’s a great place to pause, recharge and watch Ubud roll past. ”
